Information the site handles
We do not ask visitors to provide personal information to read briefs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. We do not use that data to identify individual readers. For website analytics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not set cookies or track you across other sites.
Cookies
The core reading experience does not set tracking cookies. Some cookies may be set by the third-party services described below, including advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Advertising
AVinBrief carries advertising to support its reporting, including through Google AdSense and may include other advertising partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to AVinBrief visitors based on their visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the AVinBrief newsletter, your email address is handled by our newsletter provider (Beehiiv) so we can send the briefs you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any issue.
Contacting us
If you email an AVinBrief address such as news@avinbrief.com or sponsor@avinbrief.com, we use your message and address only to respond to you.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers named above, and only so the site can function.
Children
AVinBrief is a trade publication for AV professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
