How AVinBrief reports, sources, uses AI, funds itself, and corrects the record.

Who is accountable

AVinBrief is published by InBrief Media, founded by Jennifer Davis, who serves as publisher. Briefs are produced by the AVinBrief Editorial Desk and reviewed by a human editor before publication. We follow the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics.

How we source

We report from primary sources only: manufacturer and publisher newsrooms, wire services, AVIXA, standards bodies, and show organizers. We do not reuse trade-press articles or news aggregators as sources. Every factual claim in a brief is traceable to a source we cite and link.

How we use AI

AVinBrief briefs are drafted by an editorial system that works only from those primary sources, then reviewed by a human editor before anything is published. We do not publish a brief that a person has not reviewed, and we never credit AI as an author.

Independence and funding

AVinBrief is funded by the advertising and sponsorship programs it offers to suppliers and manufacturers in commercial AV. Coverage is never for sale. Any sponsored content is labeled as such and kept separate from our reporting.
