The dollar figure is a footnote; the direction is the story. Pro-AV has spent a decade selling rooms that still need a person in the booth. The economics that actually move integrators (fewer operators, more rooms per technician) depend on the automation layer, and that layer is consolidating into the platforms.

QSC folding tracking into Q-SYS is one more sign that the value is migrating from discrete boxes to the software that runs them. Watch two things next: whether competing control platforms answer with their own tracking acquisitions, and whether camera vendors respond by opening their tracking APIs to stay relevant inside platforms they no longer control.
